The fastening straps for under your mountaineering boots are made of abrasion-resistant Dyneema material and allow for neat, easy storage when not in use. Thanks to additional features such as ventilation zippers and abrasion-resistant schoeller® inserts for protection against sharp edges, our WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL high-alpine touring pants can be adapted to all situations and weather conditions. Merino mesh inserts at the adjustable waistband make the pants even more comfortable.

Merino Naturetec Material
The merino wool is directly woven together with the material from schoeller® to create the ORTOVOX NATURETEC fabric. This combination of merino wool and durable polyamide is extremely robust and elastic – making it ideal for high-action sports. The merino wool on the skin ensures good wear comfort and an ideal personal microclimate, while the polyamide provides protection against wind and light precipitation.
